Site Content

Today we are visiting Shaftesbury & Sherborne is best known for honey coloured stone buildings. It boasts an Abbey and two castles, one a ruin and the other a newer one with grounds laid out by Capability Brown. Shaftesbury is, of course, famous for its Gold Hill made famous by the Hovis advert. From the top you have magnificent views across Thomas Hardy's Blackmore Vale. It has lots of delightful shops and cafes along the winding streets.

Prices as follows: To Be Announced.

We will announce full details shortly. Please do not apply until we announce Prices etc.

As always Churston Library would appreciate it if people arriving by car would not use the library car park as this is for library users only.

The Staff thank you in advance for your co-operation
